LAU + SAYURI
who is the better dancer?: in their own regard, each is an exceptional dancer. sayuri with traditional dance, while lau with western dance. they teach each other.
who likes the outdoors more and who likes the indoors more? sayuri is more of an out doors person; lau– he goes wherever it may be convenient for him.
who’s a cat person and who’s a dog person?: sayuri and lau are cat people!
who’s more social?: they’re both social, sayuri more than lau. it’s her job to be social.
who makes the bed every morning?: they don’t share a bed nor do they share a home. however if things were to come to that it would be the maids.
who likes to keep the house cold and who likes to keep the house warm?: again, because of circumstance, neither. hypothetically, sayuri would like to keep the house cool. lau would prefer warmer? cooler?
who takes longer getting ready?: no doubt, sayuri. about two to three hours!
who likes scary movies and who likes funny ones? sayuri loves funny movies! she’s not keen to watch scary movies unless it’s with lau. ;)
who screams when they see a bug and who ends up killing it?: omg– i think neither would scream. sayuri would jump to find a shoe to crush it with. lau might even taunt her.
who is more technology challenged? oh– oh…hmm. lol sayuri ; she really couldn’t be bothered.
who would be more likely to burn something in the oven? S A Y U R I . she can’t cook, c’mon.
who talks in their sleep? lau ? sayuri ? both? if they have a nightmare. one of them has to be prone to having nightmares.
who leaves the cap off the toothpaste? tf.. neither.
who likes getting dressed up more? both!

who recorded the answering machine message on the house phone? omg… lau. it’s lau’s home.

who is most likely to laugh during a serious situation? omg neither; they understand the gravity of the situation.

who is the better dancer? lol lau. chiyo has two left feet.
who likes the outdoors more and who likes the indoors more? they’re both home bodies. though chiyo does like going outside, too, for food and dates.
who’s a cat person and who’s a dog person? chiyo has a pet pug! while lau likes cats.
who’s more social? definitely chiyo! sometimes too social to the point where it can be mistaken for flirting with men, which makes lau incredibly jealous.
who makes the bed every morning? lol the maid.
who likes to keep the house cold and who likes to keep the house warm? chiyo loves keeping the house warm while lau has to turn it down cause it gets so hot in the house!
who takes longer getting ready? chiyo would. she’s got a lot of hair to deal with. asks lau to straighten it for her while she fixes her face.
who likes scary movies and who likes funny ones? omg chiyo loves scary movies. she’ll go with lau to watch them. he’d ask to see some comedy afterwards.
who screams when they see a bug and who ends up killing it? chiyo screams and begs lau to kill it! neither would want to kill the bug and would put it on the other person to kill it!
who is more technology challenged? neither is, tbh.
who would be more likely to burn something in the oven? lau. chiyo knows how to cook pretty well, since she’s had to feed herself for quite awhile. though sometimes, she can be aloof, and will burn the food.
who talks in their sleep? chiyo, dreams about her parents and ends up squeezing lau very tightly to the point where he wakes up.
who leaves the cap off the toothpaste? omg chiyo. it’s lau’s pet peeve.
who likes getting dressed up more? lau, chiyo is very lazy. but she does clean up pretty well when she does try to get dressed.
who’s better at tying ties? lau– he asked her to tie his tie once and it ended up almost being a noose.

who takes up more space in the closet? lau. chiyo has her own drawer at his place. when it’s at her place, she equally shares her closet with him.

You were a blessing.
You were a mistake.
You were everything, yet at the same time you were nothing. I’m certain that you were put into my life for an unknown reason. Regardless, you’ve brought me such great joy that my heart cannot handle it. And such a presence as great, as ephemeral, and as nostalgic as yours is a blessing that I am grateful to have received.
We both knew that eventually this day will come. We’d part ways, and return to our respective lives. Your heart beats and yearns for another, as does mine. But even then, the moments we had together, no matter how grand or how simple, they’re forever etched onto my heart. You’ve stitched your memory upon my skin. And as you’re reading this, it must be that we’ve parted ways already.
However I do hope you’ve waited at least a reasonable time to allow the longing to settle. Yet we’re creatures of want and we’re creatures of unfulfilled desires. And I’m most certain you’ve gone ahead and read this the instant I gave this to you. But I’m not one to dictate how you live your life, nor are you to tell me how to live mine. We’re both separate entities who’ve had an unfortunate fate in both life and in meeting one another.
You were placed into my life in the most inopportune moments. But deep within my heart, one day, I’m certain, that we’ll meet once more. May it be in this life or in the here after. But know that I’m hopeful that we will meet again one day. Remember the day we first met. Remember the first night we spent together, I wept and you comforted me. I can still taste my tears on my tongue and your fingers on my chin.
Remember that you’ve told me to smile rather than to cry? I’d rather you remember me when I wept like the innocent child I once was. Remember that-- remember me in my most vulnerable state. That is who I truly am and I only wish for you to remember who I truly am.
Time has passed and we’ve gone our separate ways. Hence why I even wrote this letter in the first place. You had come into my life and there as purpose for it all. A plan-- the universe’s plan. You were part of that grand plan. And even if things never do follow through, you were a part of it nonetheless. And I, too, was a part of your life.
Remember me. Remember my name. Remember my touch. Remember who I am and what I had showed you. Though we may not be in each other ‘s lives now, know that at some point in time when we were in the presence of one another, they were moments created that were to be cherished in the future.
And know that at some point in time, in the past, as much as I tried to deny myself my sentiments towards you, I loved you. I had loved you. But even then, such sentiments are so detrimental and so dangerous that it’s best they’re not uttered in such a vulnerable moment.
So forgive me for not saying such words to you when we had seen each other. But know that through this letter, I’m able to freely express how I felt. Forgive me. I’m sorry. I miss you.

-always wins when they play Trivia Crack: Lau. Omg. Sayuri is just so angry she throws her phone at him.
-laughs when their partner trips on something: Lau-- he probably would be the one to laugh at her. Especially if they had met when she was just debuting as a geisha and she trips on her fucking kimono.
-would drop ice down the back of the other’s shirt as a joke: LAU! OHMYGOD. HE SEES THE OPENING BEHIND HER NECK AND DROPS THE ICE DOWN IT. She gets so mad. So she pours hot tea on his pants.
-spoils the ending of a books/movies: Probably Lau in such a subtle way that Sayuri just gets so mad and not talks to him for a week.
-always posts a picture of the other as their MCM or WCW: Lau-- and if he doesn’t, she’ll make sure he does.
-eats the last piece of cake in the fridge before the other can have it: ..................Sayuri. Sneaks cake.
-obnoxiously celebrates Monday Punday every week: Oh gosh, Sayuri moves definitely.
-makes loving hack posts on the other’s Facebook/Instagram/Tumblr/Twitter etc: LAU WOULD! Oh lord and people would ask what happened to Sayuri’s page.
-has to beat their partner in every game: hhhhh both. Both are rather compatitive.
-keeps their partner up half the night talking about random stuff: SAYURI she has so much to say? Lau might fall asleep on her to be honest. Sayuri will keep going on and on.
-eats too much garlic and tries to kiss their partner anyway: Sayuri omg. Eats all the smelly things and sneaks up on Lau with her stinky breath.
