The book rested on the pale palms of Hinata's hands, her dark eyebrows furrowed above the eccentric eyes, so common to the Hyüga clan and yet never less fascinating. The lady - Kuria, as she had so nicely asked her to call her - was looking down at her petite form, the crinkled eye insinuating she was probably smiling beneath the curious mask. She had insisted on Hinata accepting the book she was eyeing not too long ago, before the uncalled for scene with a man whose name she did not know unfolded. Of course, her first instinct was to refuse, which she did, but Kuria just pushed it towards her, saying it wasn't a problem. After realizing there was no use in resisting so badly, Hinata accepted the gift, promising herself the next time she was there, she'd make sure to pay for whatever she bought plus the present - hopefully not bringing anymore discomfort to either of them.
"Thank you, again. I owe you." She said, hugging the book against her chest. The thanks came not only for the free product, but for helping her when she damn well could have brushed it off - as most people would.
