It was the last place that he thought that he would be: helping Katherine Pierce. She had been turned human by Elena during one of their confrontations. Now, she needed to train and get into the best shape possible because she had to defend herself against her many enemies. He had been conflicted about it for a few days. This woman had hurt his friends, tried to kill the entire group, and brought chaos to his hometown.
In the end though, he needed a paycheck, and she was paying him well and that was how he justified it to his friends. They had gone for a run and now he was supervising some push-ups which were not going so well.
“I know you haven’t been human in like five hundred years? But, push ups are probably the easiest exercise. You literally just push yourself up and I said to do twenty and I swear, we haven’t made it past---five”
