Therese looked at the man for some moments, lost in her thoughts as she tried to speak. “Are you okay?” came out almost whispered, like a huff.

“Don’t be such a brat. I’m not just going to ignore someone injured.” Hands placed on her bare hips the dancer’s blue eyes narrowed on the man hidden behind the building. 

She had come out for some fresh air and found him hunched over looking less than healthy. Not quite pale skinned but not tanned either the girl was clearly not from here and the skimpy but colorful clothing fabric she wore best suited that of a slave dancer.

“Stay here and I’ll get you some water.” She moved to go back inside before snapping her head back to him with a stern glare. ”I mean it, suck up your pride and sit down before it gets infected.”
