So in Avengers fandom we have this habit of taking of after the movie and randomly having all the Avengers playing house in the mansion because we want it SO MUCH. One of the things I like about this fic is it doesn't do that. It's very much a movie fic - it takes realistically from where the movie ends and uses those relationships and that characterisation. Other than that, this is a hurt/comfort fic and it's done well. It doesn't beat you over the head with the comfort and it's characterisation of Tony is just beautiful.

Review: So perfect it hurts. Steve’s experiences through the years are sad but then there’s Tony and it follows the movies so you know what’s going to happen, but all the meanings change because it’s for Steve and there's all these feelings and it’s just brilliant with the best ending. You’ll love it.
