Arthur wasn't thebest at asking for help sometimes—usually if it was something hecould do himself, he would just do it. However, everything here feltDISJOINTED and there was a part of him that was alittle AFRAID of what was waiting in the parts that hecouldn't see. He'd ended up stuck in some place close toreality, but he was always looking IN and not being apart OF. Not anymore. So, going anywhere else was...aconfusing idea, but he knew that he wanted to try. She'd camein quietly, though Arthur could tell when she showed up—it wasn'tlike he had many visitors, he was usually the one doing the visiting. He wasn't one to dump his thoughts out vocally, but nobody was thereto hear him but her and she'd proved to be a good listener over thetime he'd been there. So, after she sat herself down on the fencewith him, he explained just where his thoughts were. That he wantedto move around, to see something.
It wasn't...movingon, as she'd mentioned a couple times. No, he knew what THATwas, but she never seemed to press or drag him anywhere.Arthur wasn't sure just how long he'd placed himself in thissituation—he knew he could leave whenever he wanted, whenever hewas ready, but that still wasn't the case yet. He'd seen most of whathe could from where he had sat himself, but there was also a numberof other things he wanted to check in on. He wasn't about to pressher to take him all over, as much as he wanted to checkin on a number of things and people. She seemed confident, but hewanted to figure it out first.
He doubted thatshe had all the time in the world, but in the moment she certainlyseemed to suggest it. It was an opportunity, and he figured he shouldtake it.
“Y' know how tomove 'round here?” he asked, turning to look over at her finally,“There's this kid...thought that I'd like t' know thatthings aren't worse off than when I'd left them.”
