The journey to Westeros was rougher than Talisa had ever imagined. She made a note that if she were to ever return, it was only because it was absolutely necessary, and that a life or journey on a ship just wasn’t one for her. Still, she was grateful to Aurane for allowing her aboard, despite it being a favor returned to her. She wasn’t sure what she was going to do from here on out, but she was determined to help as much as she could, especially now that war was brewing in this Realm. Silently, Talisa made a vow to remain as neutral as she could, and to help anyone injured in the battles surely to come.
For now, she continued her journey with Aurane and his crew, finding herself at a quaint inn with a large amount of people, who seemed to vary in wealth and status and all came to celebrate the moment of peace that was amongst them all. She sipped her wine, noting how different the flavors were from what she was used to in Volantis, and for a brief moment, she missed her home. The moment passed in the blink of an eye, and she told herself, again, that home was not the place she once believed it to be. She had changed. And at that she took another long sip, finally spotting Aurane amongst a crowd, women seemed to flock to him at every corner. She approached him, meek smile on her face as her eyes glanced around at the girls who seemed desperate to woo him. “This is certainly a side of Westeros I hadn’t imagined to see anytime soon. I just wanted to extend my thanks again. And honestly I have no idea who anyone is, so perhaps I’m a bit desperate for any sort of conversation.” She gave a small laugh, feeling a bit silly for seeking out the one person she knew.
