remaining to adhere to a low-key lifestyle was something the original sister had grown quite accustom to over the centuries. having to constantly run and hide like a lowly mutt, but necessary for evading the infamous vampire hunter they ( her siblings ) once called father. then again, a lavish and out there lifestyle also seemed to be something eased into without so much as an effort. the latter was something more desirable - pertaining to a more lively way of living compared to blending in with the rest of society. well, at least the mindless part and not the ones that she admired for afar for not being forsaken as she had been.
with these conflicting thoughts, rebekah found herself becoming restless, and decided to stroll about the area ( as had been done when arriving ) not wanting to be cooped up, per say. being hidden by the shadows had never been ideal, and it wasn’t something she would jump at the chance to do. the thoughts nearly engulfed the blonde before wide eyes had set upon a figure in the near distance; a spine chill confirming it. without so much as a step, she appeared at the side of the elder mikaelson almost as quickly as his appearance had been discovered. lips curving upwards into a welcoming smile, “took you long enough, ‘lijah.” stating the words before stepping forward and giving her brother a hug, to which she normally did upon their reunions.
