"Do you want to hide a body?"
Aniasis looked at her daughter, her holonovel slowly lowered to her lap in her hands. “Not necessarily.” She deadpanned. “Did you ask your father?”

don't look at me like that. (My Heir of the Empire verse for Padme's Rebellion Verse, shortly after the Empire falls and Qira is captured by the rebellion!)
"I HATE YOU, BUT I JUST DID SOMETHING TO HELP YOU AND NOW I NEED TO EXPLAIN MYSELF" PROMPTS / always accepting !
It was not something Padme ever expected to happen, after all for years she thought Anakin died. For him to be a Sith, and to be behind so many death ... To become such a terror in the Galaxy ... It was hard to believe and yet she had the proof. Her own children fought against him and while in the end Luke told her that he came back to the light ... It didn't change much about the fact that he did what he did.
And that she was now standing in front of an holding cell with none other than his daughter. There was a lot she could take, really. Even now she was trying to wrap her mind around what happened these last two decades but this one ...
The man she loved, her husband, apparently had an adventure. Not that she could be mad about it, as the two thought the other one dead but it still caused her some pain to learn about it this way, when he wasn't even around anymore to talk ... Gone. For real this time.
Leaving behind a girl who looked everything like the one she loved. Yet different too. ❛ I'm sorry. ❜ The leader finally spoke up, the girl's voice finally bringing back down from her thoughts. ❛ You ... You look so much like him. I ... I didn't want to believe it before. ❜

Tarre has never been the kind of man who claims to know what he does not, and he is well aware of the passage of time. A thousand years are not nothing, and he's far too aware of that.
But when the Force calls him to a place, or a person, he tends to appear.
And the smirk is not welcome.
"A valley worn by a river cannot become a plain again." He warns her. "Which is a very old metaphor, but then again I am a very old man, and I have fought the Sith those texts speak of."
The Force doesn't speak of dishonesty. It also doesn't speak of lack of interest, and he sighs.
"I studied them, in my time. And I assure you those books weren't written by the people who faced them, who felt in the Force what they were, and what they could do."
And he was all but fond of inaccurate information.
"It has never been about right or wrong. It is about what step after step can mean, when you have walked far enough."

Qira's eyes found their way to her older half-sister, who had seemingly sought her out on her own regard, even with the death of their father. She had sequestered herself into hiding, her time with the Empire finished, but her valuable training in politics meant she could eventually help a re-emergence of the Sith. "I agree that fear is not the enemy, but it is not a catalyst for bravery. It is what fuels me, makes me stronger, and ready to face any who oppose me." Despite Leia being an enemy, Qira left her lightsabers where they were, hanging from her belt, to show she was not interested in fighting at this moment. It just wasn't worth it when the other had genuinely searched her out to interact. She could be cruel, but she still had a conscience. Perhaps that was why only one of her kyber crystals was bled, and why her eyes still had blue in them, despite the red and yellow rings beneath it. "I doubt you're here just to patronize me, however. So tell me, sister, why you're really here."
"Fuels you." Leia muse over her words, "You mean the dark side." And more quietly to herself, "Like Father like Daughter."
Leia pace around Qira. Her hands flexed with kinetic energy. Always close to her blaster at her hip. Her senses were alight. She had expected Vader when she finally caught up to Qira. Expected a fight of some sort. Having seen her on the battlefield before. Even more surprised that Leia wasn't on Qira hit list. And while Leia did feel the other womans powers and the danger she did possess, she was no Vader.
Leia flinched, ignored the sister comment. It was too soon.
"No I haven't come here to torment you. Or kill you." Although she should, Qira was dangerous. "I suppose I was curious about you. I know Luke is. He thinks you can be turned."

MANHANDLING SYMBOL STARTERS // ACCEPTING
@ofvxder
-pin my muse with their arms behind their back
Rey had not expected to be bested so quickly in their spar, and yet, here she was. “Get the hell off of me, right now,” Rey said in a firm voice as she kneed the other girl in the hip region and began to push her off and away with her lower half.

🌑 (As a little girl, maybe frightened of something?)
Send 🌑 to crawl into bed with my muse
Aniasis awoke with the start when she felt the bed dip with movement. She was in a fairly deep sleep, the warmth of the palace on Mustafar made her feel cozy and lulled her to sleep hours ago.
In the darkness, on Lord Vader’s empty side was a pair of startled eyes.
“Qira? What’s wrong baby?” She asked her voice heavy with sleep.
