The Paraverse’s Answer (Melinda,Harry)

Melinda had learned a long time ago that she could use runes to open and close the doors to universe.    Since she learned from that moment there had been one door she hadn’t been able to walk through--until now.     She didn’t understand it.     Melinda hadn’t forced her way through, it was like had enough XP to enter a locked level in a video game.

However, when she tried this time, the door was open to her without even trying.    She was insanely cautious and when she came through, shutting the door behind her.    As she did she felt a pulse move through her and the world.

“Oh no.”   That never happened before.  

Melinda immediately looked around and was quick to get out of dodge.    She could feel it here, magic was different, almost wrong in comparison.     She managed to feel no one followed her for a good hour.

Macy had been so careful. Trying her best to stay awake, to keep from meeting him in her dreams. She was struggling, trying to keep control of her feelings. Knowing deep down that she couldn't start a relationship with her whitelighter. Let alone his other half, the darklighter..

In the back of her mind she was still trying to find a way out of here. But even then she couldn't deny the fact that she felt drawn to Jimmy as well.. A thought that both thrilled and terrified her.

"I'm here now.. How about that dance?"

She asked him softly as she approached him and grabbed hold of his hand. She was trying to distract him. And yet she also used this as an excuse to be near him while she could.

Melinda thought this was the most hilarious thing in the world.   “The Elders want you as our Whitelighter?”   It was absolutely ridiculous and she was doing her best to not look at Wyatt and Chris right now.   “Whitelighter of three witchlighters who have their own charges.” She pointed out.   Wyatt meanwhile was trying his best not to laugh.
