✎ What do you wish the author would reveal/had revealed about your muse?

Oh man, so much. I’d like to know more about Heather’s suicidal thoughts— I’d like to know if they started after Heather & Kurt & Ram’s ‘suicides’ or if she’d been having them before. I’d like to know when Heather started to carry sleeping tablets around with her. I’d like to know more about her home life other than ‘dad sells engagement rings’ & ‘mom & dad split up’. I’d like to know how the Heathers were formed & for how long they’ve been together.

But most of all, I’d like to know more about her relationships with her friends, and more about her relationship with Heather Duke post-musical. I mean, did they make up? Did they hate each other? Did they avoid each other?? What happened?????

★ Well, that depends.

Pre-Cathedral Michiru would have chosen solitude over anything else, surrounded by music or books; she would have chosen to travel the world and tour as a famous violinist, and would have absolutely given up being a Senshi because I think part of her really hated how much destruction and death she couldn’t prevent.

And she wouldn’t ever let herself think about a family, or Haruka, because she didn’t “deserve” that sort of happiness, and she didn’t want to impose on other people.

(Before the altercation at the Marine Cathedral, Michiru had a lot of issues. She still does, but she’s more honest about them.)

Post-Cathedral Michiru - post-death Michiru, post-resurrection/post-watching-Haruka-die-as-well-Michiru just - chucks all those thoughts of doubt and self-hatred and what she does and doesn’t “deserve” straight out the metaphorical window. 

And I think after that her idea of perfect happiness is still quiet, still includes music and traveling, but it’s expanded to encompass her family. I think Michiru is blindingly, ecstatically happy when she’s spending quiet conversations with Setsuna, or playing with Hotaru, and of course - doing pretty much anything with Haruka. And this includes the other Senshi too. I think Sailor Moon - and the other inner Senshi - helped her realize that she doesn’t need to be ruthless and cold to be a good soldier. She doesn’t need to sacrifice her humanity.

So I think being around her friends and family in quiet, normal moments - that’s Michiru’s idea of perfect happiness.

Cookie has a kimono her mother made for her by hand. She hardly wears it, but keeps it stowed away for special occasions like her birthday. It’s a sad object of sentiment since her parents died so violently, but it’s the only thing she has left to remind her of either of them.

Her eyes grow wide at the other’s response— she’d been expecting to be turned down. This was SUCH a long shot, and with her luck she’d never expected this.

"Oh— no. I’m not in any trouble, uh, I mean I don’t think so.”

She supposed that her mom might’ve called the police. She might’ve disregarded her note telling her ‘don’t try to find me. I don’t want to be found.’ But either way, that wasn’t exactly trouble. She guessed.

“Thank you so, so, so much! I promise I’ll make it up to you, somehow! You really— you have no idea how grateful I am.”

who’s the cuddler: usagi. though, haruka is never not in the mood for them.who makes the bed: haruka. if she doesn’t do it, no one ever will.who wakes up first: haruka does, but refuses to move an inch until usagi wakes up.  who has the weird taste in music: usagi would, definitely.who is more protective: haruka is beyond protective. usa’s extremely protective of haruka in many ways, but haruka remains the most protective of the two.who sings in the shower: usagi, and haruka never fails to tease her about it.who cries during movies: usagi. while haruka will have one or two movies that get her a bit teary-eyed, she never actually cries.who spends the most while out shopping: usagi will, because even haruka can’t keep her away from the sweets.who kisses more roughly: haruka, though she has no problem being gentle with usagi, usagi prefers it the other way.who is more dominant: usagi will be more assertive at times, taking haruka by surprise. but, it’s like a domino effect, where she’ll try to be gentle at first, but usagi is having none of it and that in turn with just turn into haruka being the dominant one.my rating of the ship from 1-10: absolutely 10. usaharu is otp.
