While I hated how some of the other members of the JSA spoke down to Pat, especially Sylvester who's know him literally since childhood, I thought it was great how Jay treated him as an equal and allowed him to say his piece.

I think it's a good indication of how things will be if they ever meet with the new JSA: with Flash actually trying to listen/lean into the mentor role while I could see Starman assuming he knows better and not giving the team a fair chance.

Fitting that Stargirl is airing during October, because each episode is getting spookier and more f*cked up!

while i agree the old JSA are at least sketchy if not sexist, we don't see the whole room at any point so Hawkgirl may have a poster and Courtney didn't take the mace because in most versions she can't carry it (like wonderwoman and supes can but anyone else can't lift the mace) but yea weird starmans sister was not allowed to join or pat...maybe there just elistest?

I’m not budging on this until I get that flashback episode to see for ourselves
