man! idk if this was just me but like

as a kid i 100% never knew what warrior cat characters were interested in one another

like when i first read TPB and then firestars quest and like sandstorm and firestar were together with a family like

i wasn't surprised i just accepted it or whatever

but i just like in NO shape or form has realized before hand that the two may be interested in one another 

like 10-13 year old me had NO idea they would get together i straight up just thought sandstorm hated firestar for most of the books and was learning to be chill and friends by the end of it 

nor like squirrelflight and brambleclaw, i just thought they were friends.

and oH my god this was like big dumbass

no idea crowfeather and leafpool liked each other

like i think as some point when they were running away i maY have sorta understood they liked each other

the only reason the three being their kids was any sort of surprise to me was because i straight up never understood that crow and leaf had some sorta romance i just straight up never picked up on it
