My dads doing his annual month with Amaya thing. He’s this tall Nigerian man who wears top hats and goes to the grocery store in a done up outfit. My dad is the only reason I’m not a homeless slob, my dad is my biggest fan.

This morning we went for breakfast and the waitress asked if we were a couple because my father is so young (looking).

My dad: this is my daughter

Me: dad-

My dad: -this is my daughter, my child, a flower that came from my seed. This is my one and only daughter, Amaya *insert 3 middle names and tribal last name*. I am proud to call her my daughter. She is not my lover, but instead, she is a product of my lover. My daughter, Amaya.

Me:

The waitress:

My dad: I will get the blueberry pancakes please.

We have plans to go to the CN Tower in a few hours. Wish me luck hahaha
