honestly I have so many feelings about Bucky's metal arm. Not just bc I think that it must hurt like a bitch, but also because of the star. The arm probably can't be taken off easily, bc it's not a normal prosthetic and there's probably anchors in his body or some shit. I think he'd want to get rid of the whole arm, tbh, but also the star. (maybe replace it w/ a tiny Steve's shield??????) what is your opinion on the metal arm I must know. ~headcanon anon
OH MAN I mean every little aspect of bucky makes me emotional tbh honest but THE ARM. Like it’s just so big and present and even if bucky ever wants to have time to be totally himself and forget what hydra did to him it’s just impossible to get away from.
Honestly it would be really great if the arm comes into play in some way in civil war, either as something hydra used against him or just the catalyst for some emotional moment…
But someday bucky will be able to live with everything that’s been done to him, learn that all the terrible stuff that’s happened to him is a part of him, and it doesn’t define him but all works together to make him the person he is
