I'm putting aside the extended version of Book II: The Saga of Thranduil for a time. It isn't going anywhere--it just has a great deal more to add to it so it is ready for more 'prime time'.
It is important to do so to prepare for the extended version of Book III: The Last Tale of Legolas Lasgalen. None of this will affect the original versions except where applicable.
It’ll make far more sense when everything is done. This doesn’t affect the “surprise release” of Book II: The Saga of Thranduil coming soon (the Heavens gave me an extension of two weeks; how lovely). Just makes the extended versions a little bit longer.
Makes you wonder what happens with Elladan and Elrohir, doesn’t it? I don’t have a clue (but they did fight during the War of the Ring and may have quite possibly 😏 shared the same fate as their sister Arwen). Yes, Eldarion has cousins. Amazon should have gotten original and wrote about what happened after the War of the Ring--there’s an original Tolkien story people don't know a thing about. That requires reading outside the Appendix through 12-20 more books. You might get part of it from The Kingdom of the Woodland Realm Trilogy--or not; I haven’t decided yet (yes I have).
