Orion meets Rung while investigating Trepan, Rung gets pulled into things that make him act somewhat suspicious and hides some people in his apartment, Orion is convinced the people going "missing" are being killed but it is really Rung smuggling people out.

Orion is a little obsessive and also seems to remember Rung, to Rung's surprise, though it is at least in part because he thinks he is Trepan's friend and involved in suspicious activity he's dragging Pharma into. Not helped by Rung showing up at the police station and hospital and different places due to his work and knowing people Orion considers "dangerous".

OP is not great on the need for mental issues, and Rung is very offended for his patients. Though it goes politely cold.

Orion and Rung have an interesting relationship because the whole confrontation turns into having to go on the run, and Orion spends the whole time having to carry Rung, who is very huffy and offended and scolding him. He gets upset enough to yank on his little bobbing fins and finally goes off on him shouting and reaidng him the Riot Act while Orion is thoroughly chastised and the Outliers stand their awkwardly Senator Shockwave is deeply amused and helps them escape the city, mentioning he'll follow.

Cue the field trip from hell for Roller, who is now being subjected to Rung and Orion, discovering they have UST now. At least this time bo one is having sex in his alt-mode, and he has Damus to commiserate with. Rung is flattered but mostly pissed and they go through a whole adventure.

Putting myself in Orion's nonexistent shoes here, yeah I can totally see why he'd immediately connect Trepan and Rung and The Shady Shit Pharma's getting himself into. It does not help that Ori's probably going through some intriguing changes of his own

I feel like there's a specific type who seems resistant to forgetting Rung but I'm unsure how to word it.
