Just picked it up at the post office today.
I will play this CD until it’s broken, not even joking. 😍 The quality of the music exceeded my expectation. There are pieces I legit thought were classical music, but they’re not (Yurio’s FS and Otabek’s FS). I thought “Stammi Vicino” was from an in-real-life opera. I mean, it never crossed my mind that more than half of the skating music is original. Even better, 23 out of 24 tracks were originally composed just for “Yuri!!! on Ice.” That’s just skating music; they haven’t even talked about regular OST. 😤
“Oh! SkaTra!!!” is probably the fourth anime music CD I ever found with super high quality. I’m usually selective when it comes to anime music nowadays, meaning I don’t enjoy the album as a whole; I just like some tracks, but this album, along with OST of Shingeki no Kyojin, Aldnoah Zero, and Last Exile, are levels above everything else so far in my opinion.
It’s worth every single penny. Goddamn if someone decided to skate to one of those tracks, I’d be expired on the spot. 😂 And the booklet looks super nice too. 😍
