@permxission asked ; [from tiny vita because cute babu time] |=== ===“ Brother! Look what I found on The Bridge of Progress! “ Vita is quick to Viktor’s side, holding forwards bits and parts that came together in what seemed to be the damaged insides of a music box. “ Think we can fix it up? I wonder what tune it plays? Oh! What if when we play it, it glows!? ... Think we can get it fixed before you go to the Academy? ” //// unprompted ; always accepting.
attention is immediately raised towards other’s voice, standing up with the help of his cane and stepping away from his packed bags. he had become oddly sentimental these past few days after learning of his acceptance into piltover academy; it was his life’s dream, of course, to be able to attend and finally learn that which he had viewed as the answer to the undercity’s problems: science. discovering some way to help the people he felt a kinship to was one of the few things he considered closest to his heart, yet despite this, he also felt the nervous jitters of that leaving one’s home for the first time. this was where he was born, where he was raised; where he chased after mechanical boats and watched far lit stars unreachable. and despite the promises of not only education, but of a better life in piltover, he couldn’t help but feel his roots refuse to become untangled from the ground he tread on. another thing closest to his heart was, of course, vita. he worries, constantly, until his stomach is sick and his chest aches, what leaving will do to the other, but has both assured and been assured that soon younger brother will follow in footsteps. and he has no doubt that he will accomplish great things.
❝you found this, did you?❞ he’s all gentle smiles as he takes the damaged music box in his hands, but there is a part that blooms bitter. of course piltover would continue using the undercity as a burial ground for that which they felt unfixable / unneeded. what did it say of their thoughts towards the people? a quiet hum, eyes flickering over the various parts before he gives a decisive nod, ❝yes, i think that is possible. let’s take it to the workstation, да?❞
