02: What was your favorite book growing up?

I really loved fairy tales and we had this huge book collection of all of them. My mother literally read them all to me, until i could read myself and basically drowned in them. Other than that I have absolutely been in love with Alice in Wonderland!

11: What’s your favorite book cover?

Ah, that’s a difficult question. I’m just in love with the whole look of my Edgar Allan Poe collection book and the Sciencia & Quadrivium books.

22: Do you start with characters or plot?

It depends on which is more complicated, because I usually start with the more time-taking stuff. So if the characters are really really complex, I need to understand them perfectly myself, before being able to put them into a working plot. And vice versa. If the plot idea is going to take a lot of time to fully make out, I work on it as much as possible, before thinking about the characters I want to write.

Most of the time though, I start with the characters. I think they are way more important than the plot. I personally enjoy reading stories with cool characters even though the plot is not completely my sort of thing, while I can’t stand well thought out stories with characters I can’t relate to or just don’t like.

28: Which do you find hardest: the beginning, the middle, or the end?

The beginning is the easiest part to write. While you can play around a lot in the middle, while still bringing the story forward, it might be a little more difficult, but it’s still manageable. I’ve found myself having a lot of trouble with the end, mostly. It’s the hardest part of any story, since you don’t really want a story to end or at least give it an ending that seems worthy of your whole work. Both is very hard to me.

47: If you could steal one character from another author and make then yours, who would it be and why?

Since I prefer writing over reading, there aren’t many characters I can think of here. If I were to pick one though, it would probably be Flavia de Luce, because I absolutely adore her. She reminds me a lot of Wednesday Addams and she would fit perfectly in some of my stories.

50: If you could live in any fictional world, which would it be?

It might be cliche to say, but who would not want to live in the world of Harry Potter? It’s literally magical and I’d probably be overwhelmed by how amazing it is.
