the brunette thought that he was going to meet his girlfriend and that they were going to have a cute little date at the small little diner that was around there. but boy, he was so so wrong. just his luck she had came around and told him she was breaking up with him because she had basically lost interest in him and found someone new which had broken his sweet little heart. so there he was sitting in the small little booth that was in the corner as he didn’t want to leave just yet as he felt that sitting in there would at least give him time to process and think about what the hell just happened. bentley hadn’t noticed someone had came up to him ---- of course he thought pretending they weren’t there was going to do him good even though he was going to be nice and at least speak, see if they wanted anything. “um, hi?”

– // ** it was the frats annual ugly christmas sweater party, celebrated after the last day of exams, which always brought a thin and different crowd to the parties, but the boys didn’t mind. it was just another thing to celebrate. of course the usual friends came, girlfriends of members, best friends, and those who attended every party no matter what. then misfits, probably a few local high school seniors, a couple alum, and whoever was left around campus during break. johnson liked this party most of all.

what he enjoyed most was seeing all these different kinds of people interact. he stood by where the ‘dj’ was, really just a table and large speakers that was hooked up to a pledges phone. he enjoyed people watching, some people really embraced the ugly sweaters and others still tried to look good. he sipped his cool beer, his own sweater having a pocket for santa to hold another beer, as he surveyed the crowd. he caught the eye of another, giving them a nod and smile, as if cheersing their drinks and took another sip. his eyes lingered a second too long on them, but then again the crowd wasn’t as large as it usually was.

“damn I missed you,” kayleigh said practically crawling across the table to kiss the other. she cupped their cheek letting her thumb lightly graze their skin as pulled them in a bit deeper. it had been way too long since she had seen the other, but she was convinced her dad was starting to get suspicious of the two. she was positive her dad would kill her if he found out the two had been dating, but she couldn’t stay away from the other. “how long do you have,” she asked pulling away slightly to take the other in.
