#ohea chapter 5

Wip Wednesday

I am still working on chapter 5 of OHEA, but it is coming along rather well/easily which I was not expecting after having left it untouched for a month. Currently sit at 5k wc for the chapter, and honestly not sure where/how I will end it, so... yeah, we shall see how long it gets lol

Here is a snippet for you!

“Yeah.” I cut him off, not sure I want to hear what he would say next. “It was… horrible.” It was much worse than that, but how do I even explain the full range of how spending six weeks inside that coffin with nothing but blood and the pain of a broken leg and gnawing hunger for company can do to someone. The fact that even twelve years later, Baz occasionally still wakes up from an endless darkness nightmare onto to see more darkness and have panic attacks.

A sad snippet unfortunately, but what do you expect when digging up their sad/horrible past.

Wip Wednesday

I am here after finally writing some words for the first time in a like 2/3 weeks!!! whoo~   Thanks you so much to everyone that has continued to tag me even though I haven’t been posting myself, I really love and appreciate it  <3

Here is a piece of what I wrote yesterday for chapter 5 of OHEA:

“Before anything transpire, I would prefer to use the facilities and wash off the disgusting grime and dirt that is on me.” Young Baz snarks without phrasing it as a question, but I can tell by the raise of his brow that while he is surely trying to make it look like “dare to defy me”, he is asking for permission.

Six Sentence Sunday

Unfortunately, I still haven’t made too much progress on chapter 5 of OHEA (time travel au) wip. Words were written, but I’m currently stuck on a dialogue section so I will either think myself out of it or end up having to get with my beta for help 

Sooooo~ since I was stuck on OHEA, I decided to start on my “no homo” au idea (and yes it will be called/referred to as “no homo” until a think of an official title) that I shared last SSS that I’m planning on for EGF! 

Below is the cut are the snippets from both OHEA and “no homo” au as well as the tags/hellos and well wishes!

Here is a small snippet from OHEA (not going to say specifically whose pov because i’m silly and think that it would be funny to see who ppl guess it is)

“Er, um, I mean…” Rubbing the back of my neck, I glance around the room, trying to quickly think of something. “No? That is to say, that um, no. Vampires don’t turn into bats.” I don’t have to look over to know that Baz is raising a single brow at my answer.

Here is a snippet from “No Homo” au with Simon’s pov hehe

No homo? I have never heard of that. “What does that mean?” I ask.

“Exactly what it sounds like. I’m not gay. Can’t a bloke say that another bloke is ripped without it being gay? Just saying that I wish I was. The birds would be all over me.” Chad tries to explain.

“So… if you want to compliment a bloke, from one to another, without it going wrong, you just have to say no homo?” I ask to make sure. I definitely don’t want to misunderstand this new phrase. It wouldn’t do me very well if I went around using it wrong and look like a right tit.

it’s not sunday for me, but it is for more than half the world so posting i am

over the week, i managed to finish chapter 5 of ohea and started on my exchange fic for the server and i think i might be about halfway through? or a third at the least, so that is exciting!

obviously can’t share the exchange wip since it is anonymous, so instead here are two sentences from chapter 5 <3

We settle on a basic fish and chips shop that is along the route back home, and the entire time I feel a set of eyes on me. However, when I turn around, I am surprised that it is not the eyes I expect; but from the eyes of my younger self, glaring into me with what I can only believe to be suspicion.

and even better, here are two sentences from chapter 6 of ohea (that i am currently stuck on lol)

He’s lying. And I want to get to the bottom of what it.

I did manage some writing since Wednesday, but to keep things simple, I will just share 6 actual sentences today - split between the two wips I’m working on.

Turns out, that things ended up being very similar to how everything was back at Watford.

A flash of skin catches my eye and I snap over to see that Baz has lifted the bottom hem of his shirt to wipe off some sweat from his face, putting his abs on full display, and I feel everything else fade away.

Something that is definitely different about him, and I can’t help but look him over to figure out what it is.

He’s annoyingly good at [football] too, the best player.
