Ohgosh!
I got offered a job solely on the fact that, according to the restaurant owner, I'm "incredibly pretty and friendly!"
I was eating lunch with a friend from school when a guy came over and introduced himself as the owner. He complimented me repeatedly on my hair, and after successfully guessing that I'm an arts student, he started to ask me about whether or not I have a job. I told him no, and he insisted that he hire me on the spot! I told him that I'm not currently looking but after Christmas, I probably will be! At the same time, I left my phone number in case he needs a shift covered or something, as the restaurant is waaay close to my school! :)
Things like this cheer me up, even if I end up super flustered haha!
