Oh what a good question! You know I’ve always thought I would say Captain (my BFF fondly refers to me as such) but then is have to justify it and I’m not sure I could completely. I like being in charge and in my life working on a farm I am often confronted with crises that require me to be calm and direct, however I am not sure I am ready to be Captain, you know? Maybe Commander. Or Lieutenant. Definitely on the command track though, with a focus in alien cultures and diplomatic relations because I love politics. And in a few years, definitely Captain!

Lol, but I guess to answer the question directly I would say I would be Lt. Rabbit (lol @ my current alias here on tumblr) and like Scotty--people could freely call me Bunny, I wouldn't mind--preferably chief of cultural affairs and archivist aboard a ship (if such a department existed, I guess it would depend on the ship?) and I would infer that my department would spend a good deal of time in conference and conjunction with Lt. Uhura's.

Whoa wait it was a modern AU? Huh. Must have missed that memo. ANYWAY. Marius deserved that one. Seriously. Let him have this one.

Yeah, the modern AU came out of nowhere, but I like it. Since I was writing in a third person POV limited to Enjolras, I tried conveying how he thinks about Marius and his all-consuming love for a girl he saw across the street.

I’m having fun imagining Marius and Grantaire in the back of a spy van… But I think that would be too cruel to them, don’t you?

Ah, but see to assume that they never meet would be to say that ponine have never followed Marius around. But since it's been established that she's his shadow, we can therefore conclude that enjolras do in fact knows who she is. Admiring someone from afar is not a foreign concept. He doesn't have to love her, enough that he admires or acknowledges who she is. Fanfics would be so much more dimensional if authors explore that first before bringing in the L word.

It generally depends... there's a lot of factors: how recently Q got a cup of tea, how long it's been since Bond's mission, how many hours without sleep, how recently they fucked (don't ask how we know that, it was a traumatic experience).But usually safer not to risk it. We tend to camp out behind upturned tables, one poor unlucky individual peering around the corner with a camera in hand, some of us eating popcorn and perhaps pelting some over into the battlefield if things get dull...
