"Ah, found you." The tradition in gift giving is still a tad bit new to Klaus. Whether it's for a birthday or Christmas, but as he's spent a lot of time here, he's gotten to understand it a little better.
AND, his gift wrapping has gotten SIGNIFICANTLY better. He's not going to admit that this wrapping took him about 7 tries before he got it right. No one needs to know.
"I wanted to wish you a Happy Holidays, sir. Here." And here you go, Mister Aurion! He'll see that it is an empty book with nothing written on it.

At first, perhaps he thought something was amiss, and that's why Klaus sought him out... but no, it was to exchange gifts! How thoughtful.
Almost meticulously, the paper is unfolded rather than torn into. That way the paper could be saved for something else, right?
He's always happy to receive books; they were the only thing he spent his allowance on during the wars. But this one was... totally blank. ... Ah--now, he gets it.
"This is remarkably thoughtful, Klaus. Thank you. I know exactly where to put this." ... "Please enjoy yourself over the winter holidays, too."
