Exam Crashing 101 - Oholymonk
He had a confession.
Perhaps it was more a guilty pleasure or maybe he was just a little bit mad. Well... to be a Daiyoukai you had to be a few marbles short of a set to begin with. But in his case?
He looked forward to the night of the Kitsune’s Exams! Beneath the glow of a full moon many young foxes gathered on the school grounds - which was really just an Inn conjured up by fox magic - and took their test! Luring in the unwary and witless to fall prey to their tricks.
Every few years he loved to crash their exam! It sounded childish, but the reasoning he gave was a simple one: He wished to keep himself up to par with their tricks! Besides, in a way he was helping them as well! For any kit who could trick a wise old demon like him was sure to get bonus points to rise through the ranks! It occasionally happened.
This night however, the kitsunes were failing miserably in the wake of thier intruder. Out in the yard a couple of foxes nursed lumps on their heads, the price they paid for getting too rough. While other kitsunes were caught in their own traps, discovering that the Daiyoukai’s magic could disrupt theirs!
With a merry smile on his face the old dog made his way onto the veranda of the haunted Inn. Letting himself in with a cheerful sounding hum to greet the kitsune waiting inside...who all happened to be in the forms of some very lovely ladies! The look on his face brightening a little as more than a few rushed up with well practiced giggles!
“Ah! Well, hello ladies!”
