Hey, ohpretty-vibes is getting changed to atlanticpharaoh on everything(here, IG, ectect) I've grown out of my old URL, and after a recent decision to hear my art history studies to ancient Egyptian and 16th century European art I think it's much more fitting.
I wish I could say some magic trick to get the hospital workers to do what they need to do, but fact of the matter is they typically don't. Not for veterans, not for little kids, not for shit. The only reason my family gets the care we get is because my mom has been working there for 16 years. It's a fucked system. In sorry you're on the back burner. Maybe threaten to file a complaint and they start paying attention. Less complaints, the more they get paid.
Thanks doll! The entire system is so fucked, it makes me so angry that for some reason they don’t always get to do their job. I don’t know about the politics of it but still, surely you go in to that line of work to always give people 110%. Physical health is one thing, but mental health? Honestly that terrifies me as much as my physical pain does because it’s something that just can’t be as controlled y’know? Brain chemicals and all that jazz. I mean, my Mom started her battle at sixteen and she’s fifty-one next month, the thought of losing her is something I think about every day because when she overdosed last year I saw her unconscious for the first time and they struggled to get her BP back up, she was on Oxygen for almost a week. But that could equally as easily be me because overdosing is something I also know well and it’s really tough to resist self-destruction when drowning in self-hatred and your own mind. Most people really don’t understand how insidious and life consuming mental illness is.

I stumbled across your blog this morning after a particularly bad night last night. I'm happy to say I'll be getting back into divination after being able to see others working it after so long. takes the kids out of school early to go to a baseball game: LaF
does crafts and leaves them half-finished on the table: LaF leaves their science experiments everywhere
broke the toaster and lied about it: LaF, but it was less broke it and more, upgraded it against Perry's orders
That was it:) I just spoke to my great aunt about it and apparently I want going down the wrong path in my questioning. It's kinda hard to know what you should be asking when you're not sure what you're looking for haha. Apparently it is a family thing, not a generalized subject. Sorry for the awkward inquiry!
