There are several practice areas for helicopters on the Netherlands. This one is the Oirschotse Heide and is also called GLV 5. GLV stands for Area Low Flying and the helicopters of the nearby Defense Helicopter Command, DHC, of the nearby Gilze Rijen air base frequently practice here. The heather consists of a lot of sand so landings on a sandy underground can be practiced well. The so-called brown-out is spectacular to see and it's a challenge to keep the cameras free of sand and dust. We were lucky this time because almost all types of the DHC passed by. Chiniooks alternated with Cougars and Apaches.

Our second day at the world championships! Completely decorated the VIP tent and we're so proud!!! It's looking amazing and we can't wait for everyone to see 😇
