Finished TADC yesterday and I'm sort of dissapointed? I mean, it was a good ending but it felt like there was a lot of stuff I missed or just wasn't covered. Which is fine! I'm someone who loves ARGs so I'm used to loose ends. But I feel like there should've been another episode. Maybe episode 9 should've focused on Jax and then episode 10 being the final where everythings wrapped up. Just didn't feel like the rest of the characters got enough screentime. Though I understand Gooseworx probably wanted to get it done with.
Another source of my dissapointment couldve been that I was spoiled for the majority of the ending, all because no one gives people a week to watch the ending before talking about it anymore. Like c'mon guys, why are we immediately talking about Jax abstracting as soon as it comes out in theaters. Some people are poor and cant watch the movie.
Anyway, TADC is pretty good. People give it too much hate and don't have enough media literacy to understand what it was trying to say. I personally think Jax is really good rep for trans people who let their internalized transphobia and fear of judgement cloud their vision and prevent them from being happy. Just wish it was more outward about it. Also Jax 100% has BPD or some mood disorder and I love that. Though I dislike the trope of mentally ill person killing themself but it made sense. If I found out I was AI I'd do the same LMAO.
