I have a genuine question about your Oit Kin. How does a kin work for a character that didn't release yet? I mean we dont know much about him yet.
I completely see myself as Oit/Voyager/Traveler (I'll use the fandom name for this post), obviously this identity is completely involuntary which does make it harder to explain why I'm him, I just am. The second I saw him in the first trailer I knew there was something about him, honestly after the first watch I thought I was gonna be a Gale kin just cause I loved how he looked so so much but nope, it ended up being Oit.
When I look at my center (low-key a rise of the guardians reference) I see him. That's how I feel I should look. I get incredibly excited when I see stuff about myself(Oit) and selfshipping makes me just a tad uncomfortable because I truly see myself as Oit.
Kinning being involuntary means it can kinda just happened, some people can take tons of time and research and self discovery to realize a kin, while for me it usually just happens, as a kinshift or me just seeing myself as that character and then slapping the kin label on it and waiting to see if I was right or if it was just some random feelings.
Some of my kins were very obvious (Bocchi and Boxten[despite the fact I don't have much of a connection to that one]) and others just, sorta, happened, I was just suddenly getting kinshifts for Jack Frost and phantom shifts of Optimus Prime, they just happened and I'm not much like them personality wise but I can't just stop being fictionkin of them because it's part of my identity
I'm also sure it's not uncommon to find beings who kin specifically the looks of a character, at one point I thought I kinned Snow Miser just cause of how he looks and the whole ice stuff. I've even heard of beings who kin very specific time points in characters lives.
I also do get some small kinshifts of Oit and I've been yearning for the ocean since discovering this kin and I never cared about the water before lmao, I also don't know how to swim but I still want to be on a boat at sea.
This kinda turned into a really long post -^- sorry anon, I just like talking about my kins, if that didn't answer your question please send another ask but hopefully I got my point across! :3
