At work, the reason I don't do much extra without someone asking me to do it, is because I worry I'll do it wrong or otherwise fuck it up.

So yesterday I decided to show initiative and did a thing. Now this morning the superior comes here and tells us that the thing should be done in January and just tell the people they will have it in January.

And I am like... Wait... What thing? THAT thing? Yeah, I did it yesterday and they've got it now.
