Separated because Morian had to do work to cure Murray's illness

Bro becomes a mercenary under the alias Lee

And so did she, under the name Ris

(I will not go into too much detail about their lore I'm just here to go insane)

One day they met at a tavern after years of separation, with Ris' intention to commit murder on Lee

Ris does not recognize Lee as Morian at all because of his appearance change

Insert sexual tension (not really)

She do be staring at Lee though

Lucia and Liv warned Ris not to stare too much, but welp TOO LATE

Lee has caught her staring and approached her

INSERT MORE TENSION!!!

He bought her a drink, then walked out the tavern. LuciLiv were worried but Ris reassured them

Outside is just... more tension honestly

Ris tried murdering Lee but failed. Instead Lee wanted her to be his ally

Ris refused, and because she failed miserably to kill Lee she ran away

The next day she was pulled to an alleyway and again, asked to cooperate

Else Lee would get rid of her

And so they worked together as a mercenary duo

- gal loves very easily and very strongly

- it's in their nature to get really attached to living beings, and often gets really depressed when something she is attached to dies. but she has a tendency to "immortalize" them somehow

- they’re very present a lot of the times, very eager to be around others. but sometimes they seem to just vanish, and reappear as if nothing happened

- much like life itself is, she's very emotionally fickle. she’s also very music oriented. Some days she’s screaming at birds and other days she lies on the ground and whispers to the grass.

-on the note of lying on the grass, one time they decided to take a nap under a tree and when they woke up they had partially sank into said tree and was covered in moss

- she's very invested in individuality.

- they... really don't like the human race. too much bad. too much out of control evil. but again, they like individuality. they can love specific humans the same as any other living thing.

- they also have a particular interest in things that arent necessarily alive but have characteristics that make em seem like theyre alive, like the ocean, earthquakes, etc

- needless to say, she isnt in charge of natural disasters

- she's prone to existential crises

- her safe space is in the trees.

ok so i was writing a long ass post about ash and misty and misty’s absence in hoenn and how i think it affects ash and how it probably doesn’t make sense unless you’re a pokeshipping obsessed misty stan like me, but i’ve just realized all i want to say is basically this: ash needs someone to call him out on his bs every once in a while, and misty did a great job at that.

at the beginning of hoenn i feel misty’s absence as a viewer and as a fan but i also feel it in ash’s attitude. misty slows ash down. in a good way. she confronts him when she thinks he’s not doing the right thing and stands her ground. it’s one of the things I love about her, and imo it’s one of the things that did ash some good.
