4. what flower would you like to be given?
When I was little, I had to interview my parents for some class project or something, and I remember asking my mom what her favorite flower was – she said tulips. What’s funny is that I haven’t seen tulips in or around the house since then, but my little kid brain just irreversibly connected tulips to memories of my mom. So I guess that’s now my favorite flower as well!🌷
17. fairy lights or LED lights?
I don’t have either of these in my room but I’d pick fairy lights! They look very pretty 💖
23. favorite piece of clothing?
Oh no, I can’t pick just one! For design, a navy-blue dress with pink and white flowers all over it, and for comfort, a wacky holiday sweater that a friend sent me for Christmas 🥰
30. what reminds you of home (doesn’t have to mean house… just things that remind you of the feeling of home)?
Laughing with my friends as we play board games. The sound of my sister’s music drifting from her room even through the closed door. My mom’s cooking. Sitting in the car with snacks and blankets during road trips. Getting a text from someone with a picture captioned “thought you’d want to see this!” The book that a close friend lent me with the expectation that since I have to return it, we’ll eventually have to meet up again, no matter what directions our lives take us. A stack of letters/cards from family and friends that I kept throughout college and will continue to add to. The pictures of all the people I love (and former pets!) hanging over my desk. Early morning walks by myself, looking up and seeing the sunlight through the trees.
