#Okadaman: Somewhere in this world, there's a man who could have sold his young daughter to a rich old man for cash- His fastest route out of #poverty. She'll be a child bride, with a life she never envisaged. But, He choose to ride his little Okada, so that she can get a great education, a choice that is not too common in His society. Making dad a #hero . Somewhere in this world, there's a man who can have a second, third, or fourth wife, and he won't be judged, because like they say, men are naturally polygamous. But as hard as it is, he choose, to stick with that one woman. He choose only one. Somewhere in this world, there's an Okada man who could have choosen rape, ritual killing and robbery. He'll make some money, bask in a dead conscience, as he waits for judgement. But this one choose honesty, even if a honest labor means little peanuts, and no fat pockets. Everyday we wake up, on this side of heaven, life gives us a lot of options- be honest or be dishonest; be kind or be hard; walk through the narrow road or the way to sin; choose joy or wallow in unforgiveness; hear that story or ignore that person; share that picture or live in fear; eat rice or make garri; make money honestly or make money through prostitution...Choices are endless & it's part of being human. Talking to that nice Okada man taught me that. But this I know, when we lack wisdom on what to do, we can ask God. He knows what to do, and can direct us to the right people. But, it's one thing to ask and it's another thing, to obey. And Obedience pays. Choices are sometimes easy and most times, complex. Whatever the case, its important to make good ones, because, our decisions today, can affect us & the people around us. It can affect our today, and our future. So today, cheers to making wise choices. Love & Light, 💜
