Sometimes I eat ramen twice in a day😌🍜 I was in San Jose Japan town First pic #kumakoramen was pretty good. Tonkotsu ramen: tasted sesame oil, meat had good balance of meat to fat ratio, egg was jammy. Food came out fast! Second pic #okayamarestaurant was garbage-- too sweet (like chemical flavored sukiyaki) spicy but just flat spicy, not enough miso for a spicy miso ramen, egg full hard-boiled and overcooked. Menu pic looked better. I think they used sun noodles? Almost had a saimin feel. ALSO, the servers were probably in training because they: - forgot to give us menus after seating us - gave us the drink order from the table next to us (they were here before us and were waiting on drinks for a while) - didn't take our order - didn't order one of our lunches or it was taking forever (we waited over 45 minutes and still didn't receive food) - didn't check on us... I've been in the industry for 5 years so it's safe to say service that day was terrible 😐 On a lighter note I could eat ramen all day💖🍜
