“Papa...” Adem sniffled, his hair still matted with blood in the back that he hadn’t yet cleaned.
“Papa!” Adem shouts in dismay.
Adem straightened out his tie a little, still sulking a bit that Ana hadn’t let him wear his nicest one to church today. Why couldn’t he have the flashy one for Christ? No, he had to look slightly more humble than that one. He needed more excuses to wear the tux...
“Papa, I broke my crucifix last week. Do we have an extra?”
“Papa, papa!” Adem called out, rushing into Iraklis’ office in a frenzy.
“One of my businesses was in that leak. What do I do? Did I pick the wrong firm? Are they going to find us?!” He questioned breathlessly, his usually stoic expression a mask of fear that he had very truly fucked over the family by actually getting caught for once. “Do I burn down the buildings with the other papers linked to it?”

Another mission a bit closer to completion. Oddly, it had been quite a bit more difficult to get this particular subject to fall into his hands. No face to go off of, no trace of general living quarters, and no paper trail. This man had easily been his most difficult capture in his long career. It was almost a personal gratification to finally have him all alone in the basement, cuffed and chained in multiple styles and locations to ensure this surprisingly beast of a Greek wouldn’t have too much wiggle room.
“Do you remember how many people I lost getting you? I have to admit, I was quite surprised.” The Professor greeted him from behind, removing the blindfold in a casual manner. His own face was covered with a surgical mask and a bandanna to keep his dark hair back, only revealing slightly upturned brown eyes.
“When I was assigned to you, I honestly expected to be chasing after some chubby old man up in his mansion. We all learn from our mistakes, it seems. I do enjoy that outlook.” He spoke conversationally as he rounded him to a cabinet on the far side of the room. “So we’re going to get to know each other quite well. Would you like introductions or should I call this meeting to order, Mr. Rouvas?”

Another one where she’s better than you’d expect her to be at something. She’s not great, there’s a definite lack of interest in child-rearing so she won’t ever actively seek to take care of kids, but she’s not terrible. She’s actually better now than she used to be, she actually has a frame of reference for it after accessing some of her past lives’ memories than when she’d never been around children and didn’t know what to do with them.
I mean you probably don’t want her spending too much time with your kids because she’ll teach them how to play poker and which types of people are easy targets for scams. And she’s not super concerned if they only eat candy and popcorn (look at her, she’s fine!). But she won’t let them get hurt or killed and she’s kind of like the fun aunt that the parent would say not to listen to life advice from.
And how is it I should look, then, if you’re deciding?
Naked safe for high heels on a silver plate with your wrists and ankles bound as you stare up at him and the only utensil to be used is a silver dagger. Apple in mouth is an option.

She doesn’t know who he is, and this time, what he is. It’s important, the lack of knowing gnaws at her edges like an ever present itch. But she can’t MAKE him tell her, either, and she rocks back on her heels instead, brows furrowing.
“I just-- I don’t want to only have guesswork. If you don’t want to tell me, I can’t make you, but--.”
