My next entry in #horrorsistersfavoritemoviesof2021 is Olaf Ittenbach's gorefest No Reason ( released in Europe in 2010 but not widely available until this year) Jennifer may or may not be a bad person ( no spoilers) but after a very unusual day wakes to find herself in Hell. Or purgatory. Or something. A man (?)in a very disturbing tentacle mask proceeds to take her on a journey. A disgusting, gross, depraved journey. I've loved Ittenbach ever since I saw The Burning Moon way back when. Writer, director, sometime actor, he does his own fx, all practical and all fantastic. This is seriously gross stuff, the sights include eyeball slicing, dick slicing/ biting, face beaten off, legs sawed off, axes to heads, tongue ripping, and that's just for starters. No one does Hell like Ittenbach. This isn't everyone's cup of tea, but if you dig gore check it out.
