Grant’s drawn the short straw on this one. Crossbones has been fucking shit up for hydra majorly and someone needs to do something about it. Ideally they would like to have him brought in and possibly have him pledge allegiance to hydra, but if that is unattainable they’ll settle for his corpse. Ward isn’t stupid enough to let his ego carry him through this. The only that’s gonna get him through this is putting in the word, following leads, and doing his research. He’s got to be one hundred percent prepared. Apparently that means tailing him and firing a warning shot into the air.
