so sometimes i put old disney movies on for the dog while i'm doing something. bc he likes watching tv. he likes mary poppins. anyway

i put the rescuers down under on for him while i took a shower and did some housework. when i finished it had started autoplaying the first rescuers movie and. holy shit the gorgeous pastel drawings during the intro. holy SHIT. i forgot all about these (to be fair i have not seen this film since i was probably in the single digits)

Babes in Toyland is cute, a little boring, a little unhinged. Scary. Very old style of musical. However, Sylvester the goose absolutely rules. Steals the movie.

I’d love it if Disney brought back 2D animation! These movies were some of my favorites growing up and still are :)
