Climbing out of the dungeon after dispelling the amalgamation, Cat cradled his head to try and alleviate some of the headache that having spirits rip through his mind had caused. Once he got out of the entrance archways of the dungeon, the winds shifted and began to pick up. before long, a storm unlike Cat had ever seen was in full force. Soaked on his way back to town, Amidas alerted him that something had changed in the Sulphurous Sea. Taking a moment to create a new set of armor, he traveled back to the dungeon, and further to the Sea to investigate. The rain was acidic above the sea, and enemies Cat had never seen before came bursting out of the water. Using his array of weapons, he slew the aquatic creatures, not noticing the wind whipping up a large typhoon behind him. The wind calming, Cat turned around and was greeted face to face with an old creature that seemed to be on it’s last fins. When it spoke, it was not a voice of hostility, more of curiosity. “My legend soon comes to a close, and I wish for it to live on outside of this land. Will you be able to carry such a flame while burning even brighter?”

A slightly modified & perspective corrected version of the Old Duke painting as depicted in Dune 2021

I’ve always wanted to be able to get this painting as like a wallpaper but couldn’t find anything online. I wanted to be able to print this on 11x17 so I loaded it up in Procreate, smudged up the drawing using a rough paintbrush, and layered it over until I got something that looked painted sorta but still keep enough small details. I’m not good enough yet that I can entirely recreate a painting on my iPad lol so I had to take shortcuts
