TORTOISE AND HARE RETOLD

There was a time

in ancient past

when the tortoise was slow

and the hare was fast.

The hare was sure

he’d win the race

as the tortoise moved

at such a slow pace.

Now that hare may have thought

he was working harder

but as it turned out,

tortoise was smarter

and even though he moved

at such a slow pace,

twas always the rule that

Slow and steady wins the race
