"The News Standard office was the resting place of the most horrific caterpillar seen in many years. Found on a sumac tree in the chicken yard of V.D. Grove, Hopwood, the monster is 4 3/4 inches in length, 3/4 inches in diameter. It is a brilliant green, with four pairs of legs and a large number of small horns, of a reddish yellow color."
The Daily News Standard; Uniontown, Pennsylvania; August 20, 1936
"There is a scar on Eusapia's forehead on the left side, about an inch long, from which issues, during and after a séance, a mysterious cold breeze, clearly perceptible to the hands. When tested by a thermometer, it has caused a fall of three or four degrees."
The Tribune; Coshocton, Ohio; October 1, 1909
