Perfection

I've been made fun of for as long as I can remember. Elementary & middle school is where I see it as a more understandable place to happen. But high school? I would have thought people would have grown out of it.

And it's not just kids in my grade level or older! Quite a few freshmen enjoy tormenting me. It's really stupid.

I know I'm overweight And I don't look as pretty as celebrities or models. They tell me I'm not, and never will be, perfect.

But, you know what?

I don't care.

Dressing\looking like famous women never really appealed to me.

Sure there are somethings about myself I wouldn't mind changing, But other than that I'm happy with who I am. There are people who like me for who I am and genuinely care about me.

So, you can point out my flaws all you want, As long as I have my loved ones, It won't matter at all.

Why Do You Love Me

You could get any girl you want, yet you chose me.

People tell me I'm lucky to be with you, You say you're the lucky one to have my love.

Why? Why choose me over the millions of prettier girls out there?

I'm overweight, I have ugly teeth, And low self esteem.

I know I have nice hair And great eyes, But those seems to be the only positive things most ever say about me.

You've said that someone could be very beautiful on the outside, But their personality can make them one of the ugliest people on Earth.

You tell me that I have the most beautiful personality And I'm also very beautiful on the outside.

Sometimes I find myself believing you.

I often find myself asking this question: Why do you love me?

I'm not complaining, In fact I'm happy to be with you.

You make me feel better when I'm upset. You protect me when I'm scared. You hug me when I'm hurt. You wipe away my tears when I cry. When I'm pouting and being stubborn you'll sometimes tickle me just to get me to smile. You actually listen to me when I need to talk about my problems. When I'm angry you'll be there to calm me down.

You'll always be there for me, No matter what.

I know your love for me is true, And it's the strongest in the world.

You've heard me say this many times before, But I'm going to say it one more time

Ok, so I was cleaning out my closet and I came across this little earth picture book I made in like 7th or 8th grade. Now, I don't believe I researched a lot of the information that I put in this booklet, and I know some of it is incorrect but I wanted to share my goofy little school project with you guys lol

No One Truly Knows Me

I'm the one who sit out. The one who hides herself.

I act like I don't mind because I don't want to upset anyone.

I never get invited to parties, I don't mind. I never really liked them anyways.

Laughing and being carefree, Only when I'm alone or with the ones I fully trust.

Acting spontaneously, Being loud, That is how my friends see me.

Quiet, Shy, Predictable. This is how my peers see me.

No one truly knows who I am, Or how I act.

That is exactly how it should be.
