🌊 Old waves { Zak&Merry
She was sitting in the club, legs crossed as she tapped her foot to the music. It was fifties night and she was sipping a martini like the absolute q u e e n she was. Indeed, Merry thought she had it good. Her shop was doing well, Beauty parlor Doris Day was doing amazing. Her best friend and ex-boyfriend was here and seemingly thriving too, she made a lot of friends already and her black market business was doing well too.
Perfection had a name; it was whatever date this day had on the calendar. She smiled as she took another sip from the strong drink and straightened the floral dress over her knees when she looked up and felt her heart drop as she saw a familiar face she had not thought of in years.
She had ignored his mails, text messages and calls. Not only on possible businesses but even the are you okay and Merry you need to react one day messages. She had not reacted, she had not replied to the other man. Who was connected to some shady organizations and always managed to get substances Merry’s customers thought they needed better than anyone else. She froze in her seat, hoping she wouldn’t be seen, though with her length (one-eighty plus heels) she knew the moment she got up she would be spotted.
Damn her dashing good looks and legs that went on-and-on! Finding herself in quite a pickle she picked up the menu and held it in front of her face, trying to hide (badly) as she got up and tried to sneak away.
Walking with a menu in front of your face was hard though, and thus she walked straight into the man she tried to avoid. Looking at the other from behind her menu she smiled awkwardly “oh hey, didn’t see you here. Long time no see my dear friend.”

Old waves never die
I guess I just didn't have enough to write about because I just started a new blog for everything from my past that got me to this point now. Old Waves - an old school indie blog. Digging up some retro songs from the underground here.
