I’ve been playing a lot of Spyro Reignited Trilogy recently, and after many, many chats with my good friend @eeevieee​ about Spyro-verse lore we’ve been coming up with together, here’s my take on what an adult Spyro would look like!

We decided that superflame runs in Spyro’s family and that the trait would emerge as Spyro grows up. Since I absolutely adore the color palette for superflame in Spyro 1, I gave it to our lovable purple boy, the in-universe explanation being that Spyro is the first member of his family to express the superflame gene cosmetically via glowing markings, making him one glowy boy!

Since Spyro is an Artisan, he’d develop a craft as he gets older, so I decided that he’d be a metalsmith :D His superflame allows him to melt metal for his work, and since he’s been on many adventures and in many battles (as well as our headcanon that he’s half Peacekeeper), he specializes in making weaponry ;P

This was definitely a challenge for me since I’ve never drawn Spyro before (well, aside from drawing him rather poorly in elementary school lmao). This was intended to be a rough sketch with some quick color, but of course I got carried away with setting a palette and coloring, so this took me two days to finish XD I referenced the sky from Haunted Towers for the background because it’s very pretty! (and also where all my superflame references were taken XD)

This was only supposed to be some quick warmup scribbles, but I decided to keep em cuz they cute ;P (also cuz there’s an extreme lack of Titan fanart lmao) Featured here is my adult Spyro design that I posted earlier ;o

So a part of my and @eeevieee​‘s massive (yet still growing) spyroverse au is that Spyro and Titan are mates once Spyro is an adult (although we make a ton of jokes about Spyro crushing on Titan when he’s still a lil purble boy, usually when we’re playing the game or sending each other silly screenshots XD). We both think that Titan’s the best choice for Spyro cuz he seems like a young dragon daddy when we see him in reignited, and since dragons live for a fuckass long time, he’ll still be young and beautiful by the time Spyro’s all grown up XP (also cuz they cute as hell together ;P)

I feel like there’s more I wanna add but it’s like 3 in the morning and my brain has stopped working lmao
