Teen angst bullshit rant.

This morning my mom barges into my room. It's like 830 and she acts like I've been sleeping for an unreasonable amount of time. Yesterday I woke up on my own at 730. She acts like 830 is sleeping tell noon. Two minutes later, just enough time to let the dog out and pee, not enough to be completely functional she's telling at me because my 10 year old brother put the frozen biscuits in the outside fridge not the freezer yesterday. Mind you I haven't touched that fridge in 24 hours and both her my father and my brother have to get soda, and food meaning they had time to see and fix the problem but didn't, and I have not but it's clearly my fault right. But it was my job to be responsible for what my brother does. Both she and he tell at me when I dog his steps, or even think about checking his work, but God forbid I not do it and he make a mistake. It's clearly my fault. J can do no wrong he's her baby. They didnt even yell at him but they but calmly ask him y he did ot and his only awnser is its my (as in me) fault. Last night his asshole was climbing and standing on the counter to put the dishes away and I made him go get a stool. It's something I got yelled at numberous times for at this age, but later my mom pulls me aside and tells me not to be a bitch to my brother about correcting him, because he got crocodile tears and complained I was being mean. He was ignoring what I was saying, I didn't yell but I was a little mean and bitchy cause it got the job done. He's not afraid to lie to any of us, and he's been caught, but they don't even question what he says.

Wounded baby instinct

As the oldest child of a dual military family, primary careperson for all younger siblings, it is painful to hear a hurt child and not react. Sucks when something like my mom cleaning a sound or cleaning a sty makes my siblings cry. I want to scoop them up and make the pain go away but I know what's happening is good for them. Crying babies in public pull my heart strings. I however will never ever of my own will have children myself. So question? Am I the only oldest sibling or babysitter that gets these feels, and doesnt overwhelming need to procreate, or am I some sort of anomaly?
