I saw your last post, whats your opinion on charlie x doc greene?
I think it’s very cute! 8/10
Charlie and Ezra are obviously very close, I imagine they’ve known each other before any of the kids were even born. Ezra likely knew Mrs. Burns and was at her and Charlie’s wedding. Charlie likely knew Ezra’s late wife and went to their wedding. The bond between the two of them only could have strengthened 100 times over when their wives passed and they became each other’s strongest confider in those tough times.
For this ship specifically, I like to imagine they crushed on each other when they were teens/young adults (depending on when they first met) but felt that they couldn’t tell each other and indulge in that relationship because it wasn’t allowed at the time (and the fear the other would reject them, leaving their friendship crumbling).
They found love in women, married, and had [a child]ren with them.
I believe that they did truly love their respective wives, but when their wives passed and the world started to more publicly change the prospective about homosexuality for the better, they finally had the chance to try being more than friends and really hit it off.
It would be such a relief for them to openly express affection and be with each other, even if it was awkward for a while.
(Not to mention the way it would affect their children, but I feel they’d accept them pretty quickly once they realized their relationships with each other [Frankie and the Burns’] really wouldn’t change much.)
