Though it wasn’t an unknown fact that Donald wore his heart on his sleeve, and he sure wasn’t afraid to express his irritation, but when his feelings went the OPPOSITE WAY for his dear old uncle, he found himself stumbling to convey them to Scrooge directly.
However, the phrase Scrooge just spoke perhaps broke down that barrier of struggle.
