🎄 "Nasir." Dheginsea ducks to get through the doorway as he makes his way towards the white dragon. Holding onto something in one hand. Something small for it was obscured completely in his large hand.
"Here," He holds out his closed fist and waits for the other to accept. Not saying what he has or why, before promptly turning around and walking away the moment the small plants had landed in Nasir's palm.
"Hang them by the doors." Dheginsea adds, ducking to get through the door once again and leaving before Nasir could properly retort much less ask why the former dragon king had handed him so many of the same plant.
Though, the back of Dheginsea's cape clearly still had a few of those same plants stuck to it...
Mistletoe asks | accepting? (3/?)
Nasir raises an eyebrow, looking up at his king with as much confusion as he can muster behind his temptation to burst into frenzied laughter. The image of Dheginsea collecting them as he collided with doorway after doorway - those of the academy unfit for a man as tall as he - the plants falling into his clothes until he had so many that he could only see to give them to Nasir to deal with.
Ah, he always did get the troublesome jobs; didn't he?
"Of course, sire, but," He can't hold back his laughter any longer, a scoff escaping his lips, "You do know their meaning correct? I do so hope that you would not run away from me so quickly after passing so many into my hands without fulfilling that meaning."
He jogs slightly after his liege, noting the number of plants still stuck to his cape. Nasir will not say anything, let Kurthnaga get a good laugh at it first. Darting in front of him, Nasir reaches up to hold one of the numerous plants given to him above their heads, standing on his toes to press a gentle - incredibly and totally platonic - kiss against the older dragon's cheek.
"There, that should be satisfactory," Nasir cannot help to laugh softly again, almost like the gentle chiming of a church's bells, "Worry not, I'll get to work now. Your every wish is always my desire, my lord."
