I drew the very first VR in 2006, I didn’t date my old drawings so I don’t know exactly when but by the end of next year this character will be 10 years old. I’m not sure how to feel about that.
His body has been through so many changes but I really love that the big ears and the smile have been consistent. I guess those are the most prominent parts of his design.
When I first made VR I thought he was so cool and I was so excited about him and his story and it’s really cool feeling that way about him again.
